Holleran Residence

Holleran Residence
Cedar Hill Farm, PA

Several phased renovations and additions, over 10 years, were designed for this farmhouse and site known as Cedar Hill Farm.  Included in the renovations and additions was a new space for a hot tub / spa, a new pool and pool house and an Art Studio.

The Holleran family gifted their quintessential Berks County farmhouse to Alvernia University to be the official residence of the University’s President while in office.

On the site, adjacent to the farmhouse stood a one-story garage / service barn that the Hollerans had converted to a one-story three vehicle garage and a two-story Art Studio for Mr.  Holleran.  The top floor was designed as an altier art studio with large north facing windows, skylights and gallery space.  The lower level, at grade contained a wood shop and frame shop.

Upon the gifting of the property the Art Studio became an adjunct Conference Center, supporting conferences, seminars and meetings with larger attendance than the farmhouse could accommodate.
